Design It! ^® draws Motor Schematics, Instrument Loop diagrams, and MCC Block diagrams, using Visio Technical 5. Visio offers the flexibility and functionality to define and create a drawing automatically based on the database design, with output formats in Visio, Microstation and Autocad.

For those clients who prefer to create drawings using Microstation or Autocad, we offer a new utility called BlockEdit!. BlockEdit! exports text directly into templates or predefined graphic masters.

"Level 1" BlockEdit! provides a facility to create, annotate, and plot Microstation and Autocad drawings. BlockEdit! allows for individual or bulk creation of drawings in .dgn and .dwg formats, without the need to purchase Microstation or Autocad. Simply match the Design It! ^® database fields with their corresponding Text-nodes, and create the drawing! Creating Microstation and Autocad drawings has never been easier, and all without investing thousands of dollars on high priced CAD software.

"Level 2" BlockEdit! includes all of the features in Level 1, plus a viewing tool for the Microstation and Autocad drawings. It can be quite costly purchasing additional Microstation and Autocad seats, but with Design It! ^®'s BlockEdit! Level 2, no additional seats are needed. The BlockEdit! viewing tool provides you with everything you need for viewing and manipulating the drawing.

BlockEdit! it a great addition to the Design It! ^® family. Just like all of Blue Heron Software's product's, BlockEdit! is straight forward and simple to use. Once the templates are configured, drawings can be generated in seconds.
